'Vintage-Inspired & Recycled Handicrafts' 'Upcycled & rescued furniture and treasures'
Having always had a passion for fabric, I started out many years ago making clothes, adapting old items and coming up with unique, one off garments. I ceased sewing for a while whilst my children were young, returning back to my creativity a couple of years ago, upon relocating to Cornwall and giving up a career in the Legal Services.
With the natural elements of the Sea and living rural, I re-discovered my creativity and started making handicrafts from old fabrics and the natural elements of driftwood, pebbles and shells. Having designed the interior of my house, I continued making handicrafts for friends and family.
With a love of textiles and vintage styles I began designing handicrafts for the home and children. Instead of purchasing new materials, I live by the ethos of recycling and 'make do and mend', I incorporated this into my designs by re-using old materials, remnants and reworking old fabric into fresh new designs, forming vintage-inspired and recycled handicrafts. .
